Timber Insight was engaged by the Shire of Denmark to undertake routine and preventative maintenance on several of their bridge assets after completing similar works in 2022 to exceptional standards. The scope of work encompassed various tasks across 15 bridges, including: vegetation clearance, power washing road surface, cleaning signage, fungicide treatment, end grain sealing, pile repairs, and bolt tightening. The works to each bridge were able to be managed efficiently by co-ordinating traffic management measures around the road surface work to ensure disruption to local traffic was minimal. Even in the space of 12 months since the previous routine maintenance it was remarkable how much debris and vegetation build up there had been, however the team were pleased to leave each of the locations in clean, clear and safe condition.
