Waroona Emergency Bridge Repairs

The Project

Timber Insight was engaged to undertake emergency repairs and temporary propping installation to one of the shires key bridges in late 2023 when it was discovered that 3 of the bridges timber piles will dangerously close to failure. Tetrashor propping was installed to support 3 defective piles along with the installation of pile bands throughout the bridge to ensure safety and extended performance of the full structure. Timber Insight also arranged engineering, design and fabrication of the 1.4 tonne Kelly Blocks used as footing for the prop structures.
